Telehealth & E-Prescribing Consent

Last updated June 2026

Before a doctor reviews your intake, we ask you to consent to telehealth care and electronic prescribing. This page explains what that means.

Consent to telehealth care

Veradene provides care through telehealth. You and a licensed doctor communicate online rather than in person. By consenting, you understand that:

  • A licensed doctor will review the information you provide and, if appropriate, create a treatment plan.
  • Care is asynchronous and remote; it does not replace an in-person physical exam where one is needed.
  • You can ask questions, decline treatment, or stop care at any time.
  • Telehealth has limits. Your doctor will tell you if your situation needs in-person or emergency care.

Consent to electronic prescribing

If a doctor determines a prescription is appropriate for you, you consent to it being transmitted electronically to a partner pharmacy for fulfillment and shipment to you. You are responsible for reviewing the medication information provided and for telling your doctor about allergies, other medications, and changes in your health.

Honest, two-way care

Treatment is provided only if a licensed doctor decides it is appropriate. Some people are not candidates for hormone therapy; in those cases your doctor will say so and discuss alternatives. We do not guarantee any particular outcome.

Not for emergencies

Veradene is not for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
