Not medical advice

Nothing on this site is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The content does not establish a doctor-patient relationship between any reader and Veradene, its authors, or its medical reviewers. Reading an article on this site does not create any duty of care.

Consult a doctor

Treatment decisions for your specific medical condition must be made together with a licensed doctor who knows your individual history, examination findings, current medications, allergies, and goals of care. Effect sizes and tradeoffs in our articles are summarized from clinical literature; your individual response may differ.

Care is provided only when appropriate

When clinical services are available, Veradene coordinates telehealth care with independent licensed doctors and clinical partners, and with licensed pharmacies. Any treatment is prescribed only if a licensed doctor reviews your information and determines that it is appropriate for you. A prescription is never guaranteed.

Emergencies

Veradene is not for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not rely on this site or any digital resource for emergency medical guidance.

Off-label and investigational use

Some articles discuss medications or interventions in contexts that may be off-label relative to FDA labeling. Off-label use is legal, common in clinical practice, and often supported by strong evidence — but the regulatory status is disclosed where relevant. Discuss off-label options with your doctor.

Evidence freshness

Clinical evidence evolves. Each article carries a published date and a last-modified date. Medically reviewed articles identify the reviewing clinician, and a separate review date appears only when it has been recorded. We re-ground our articles on a rolling cycle, but you should still confirm currency with your doctor for time-sensitive decisions. See our editorial policy for details on how content is sourced, reviewed, and updated.
