Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Last updated October 12, 2026

Veradene is operated by Benchline Health, Inc. This policy explains what consumer health data we collect, why, who receives it, and how you can use your rights under Washington's My Health My Data Act and Nevada's consumer health data law. It adds to our Privacy Policy and our Notice of Privacy Practices.

"Consumer health data" means personal information that is linked, or can reasonably be linked, to you and that identifies your past, present or future physical or mental health.

These answers are stored against a random ID in a browser cookie, with no name, email or phone number. They are deleted automatically about 90 days after you start.

Care recordsMessages with your medical team and with support, prescriptions, lab orders and results, visit detailsTo coordinate and deliver your care and to answer your questions.
Orders, delivery and paymentYour plan, charges and refunds, shipping address, delivery statusTo bill you, ship to you and handle refunds.
Technical informationIP address, browser and device type, pages and timesTo keep the service secure and working, and to prevent fraud.

We use consumer health data only for these purposes. We do not sell it. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Where it comes from

  • You: your answers, uploads, messages and payments.
  • Your browser or device.
  • Your medical team: the independent medical practice that treats you, and the pharmacies and laboratories that serve you.
  • Our payment processor, which tells us whether a payment succeeded.

What we share, and with whom

We share the categories above only as needed to provide the service you asked for:

  • The independent medical practice that treats you, and its clinicians (Beluga Health, P.A.): your assessment answers, account and intake information, and care records.
  • Pharmacies and laboratories that fill your prescription or run your tests, and the carriers that deliver to you: the details they need to do so.
  • Video visit booking: if you book a video visit, the booking page is provided by your medical practice and its scheduling provider. You give them your name and email there.
  • Our payment processor: payment and contact details. It receives no clinical information. On our payment page it may collect device information to prevent fraud.
  • Service providers that work for us under contract, such as hosting, email delivery, phone and security providers. They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety or our legal rights.

We do not share consumer health data with any affiliate. Apart from the payment processor's fraud prevention described above, no third party collects consumer health data about you over time and across other websites when you use Veradene.

Your rights

If you live in Washington or Nevada, or your data was collected there, you can ask us to:

  • confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, and give you a copy of it;
  • give you a list of the third parties we shared it with, and a way to contact them;
  • stop collecting or sharing it, by withdrawing your consent;
  • delete it.

How to ask. Email support@veradene.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Privacy request", and tell us what you want. We confirm it is you using your account. We answer within 45 days. If we need up to 45 more days, we will tell you why within the first 45. Requests are free up to twice a year.

Two limits you should know.

  • Some records must be kept by law, such as the medical record your medical team keeps. Your medical team answers requests about that record. We pass your request to them and tell you.
  • Assessment answers given before you have an account are not linked to your name or contact details, so we cannot find them from an email request. They are deleted automatically about 90 days after you start.

If we say no. You can appeal by emailing support@veradene.com with the subject "Privacy appeal". We answer in writing within 45 days and explain our reasons. If we deny your appeal, you can complain to your state Attorney General: Washington at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint, Nevada at ag.nv.gov.

Changes

Before we collect, use or share consumer health data in a new way, we will update this policy and its date. We will ask for your consent where the law requires it. If you have an account, we will email you about material changes.
