Rolf Hoefer, Ph.D.
Co-founder, Veradene; founder and director, Benchline Health, Inc.
Rolf Hoefer, Ph.D., co-founded Veradene after his partner began navigating perimenopause. As he learned more about the menopause transition, he was struck by how difficult clear, trustworthy guidance could be to find. Veradene grew from that experience: a long-term health platform for women in midlife, designed from the start around evidence governance and transparent care operations.
His background spans research, early-stage company building, digital publishing, and consumer technology. At Veradene, he focuses on company strategy, evidence and editorial systems, technology, and the operating standards used to evaluate clinical, pharmacy, and other care partners.
Rolf holds a Ph.D. from INSEAD and a B.A. and B.S. from the University of Southern California. To be clear, his Ph.D. or doctorate is not a medical degree, and he is not a physician or other licensed healthcare professional. Clinical decisions at Veradene are made by licensed clinicians and their medical groups.
Rolf has written best-selling books selling over 100,000 copies, and has founded, advised, and invested in many companies. His passion is building organizations that solve big, pressing problems in creative ways using exponential technologies.
